Interactive installations
Captain Godfrey, Cubarama, Drift, and Layer Painter — interactive installations by John Bowskill.
Captain Godfrey
Visitors asked a life-sized Captain John Godfrey their own questions about the SS Georgette. The September 2026 exhibition recorded those conversations.
Cubarama
A room of projected imagery. Four walls carry one picture, composed in Cuborama Studio.
Drift
The photograph on the screen changes as the viewer moves.
Layer Painter
A projector and a piece of software turn a chosen image into a palette, paint recipes, and a mask for each colour.
Historical characters
A commission for a museum or gallery: a person from the collection that visitors can speak with.
